Technique [from girlslax]: “Inhale as you lower the weights to level with your shoulders. Exhale as you press the weights up. Pretend there is a beach ball on your chest, and keep your elbows bent the same amount as you would if you were to hold that ball there between your arms in the top position. Do 20 reps the first set, and see how it feels.”

The young Brazilian Carolina Solberg Salgado has won a gold medal in Under-18 and Under-21 FIVB tournaments two years in a row. Overall, female beach volleyball players are generally more famous than their male counterparts and have equal or sometimes larger prize money pools.”
