My Cat Quentin
Posted on February 28th, 2005 by Lori Braun • Filed under: Lori Photo/Video
Quentin is my cat, but I found him and brought him home for Mangus. He reminds me of a little lion. I found him hiding under a bunch of rocks many years ago. He was very hard to catch, but when my friend finally did catch him, he broke his arm in the process. Quentin is sweeet as sugar and boy, can he eat.

Quentin? As in Tarantino? Or “San Quentin”, maybe?
Since posting this question back in April, I’ve come across where you indicated that your cats are named after vampires. This is a good time to mention it, since Halloween is coming up. I’ve been consulting with a mystic–a specialist in astral planing–who thinks I could enter Quentin’s mind through a technique developed by Vajrayana monks in conjunction with NASA. We’ll try in out on devil’s night (I’ve already scheduled the following day off for vacation, just in case I can’t, or don’t want to, get back into my body in time for work). My mystic assures me no harm will come to the cat, and that he won’t remember a thing. If it works, you may notice “Quentin” acting a little strange on the night before Halloween. Would you please perform a little naked dance for “Quentin” that evening? If I can swing it, I’ll stick “Quentin’s” tongue out in appreciation, though there’s no guarantee I’ll be able to maneuver that well.
Well, that didn’t work out too well. The geniuses forgot to calculate DST, so instead of Quinten I wound up inside a flea-bitten alley cat in Sumatra, and spent the night getting chaised around by a HUGE rat. Me-ow!
